Minister Lorenzo and Lady Pamela Rodgers
Pastor Lorenzo Rodgers is the son of the late Deacon James Rodgers and Mother Everlena Rodgers. He is the sixth of ten children. He was born and raised in Groveland, Florida. He graduated from Groveland High School in 1982. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior in 1982. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1987. On November 25, 1989, he married the love of his life, Lady Pamela McKinney Rodgers. They have been married for 34 years. To this union, three children were born: Amber, Lorenzo II, and Alexis. He worked in the business field for 10 years as a credit manager and an assistant manager. In 1998, he made a career change from business to the field of education to become a middle school math teacher. This is his 26th year of teaching. He loves teaching and making a positive impact in the lives of his students. On December 21, 2019, he graduated with a diploma Summa Cum Laude of Christian Ministerial Studies from the Church of God by Faith Theological Institute. In December of 2019, he was appointed as the current pastor of Jiles Memorial Church of God by Faith in Groveland, Florida. He loves the Lord, his family, his members, and people as a whole. He is serious about preaching God’s word. He truly lives what he preaches. He encourages Jiles Memorial to stay connected to God as we continue “Moving Forward in Christ and Changing Lives.”
